Printed by Andrew and John M. Duncan, Glasgow University. Mild foxing. Contemporary pencil signature on front free endpaper and on title page of the Goldsmith novel, dated 1827. Provenance: D. Schierenburg and Jane Nicholl. 57 x 94 mm. Contemporary full calf. Spine in compartments with five single horizontal ruled gilt lines and black morocco label with gilt titling. Covers with single gilt fillet border. Corners slightly bumped and gentle rubbing to edges and hinges. Jones published a Diamond Poets series and a Diamond Classics series.
