With contemporary fully hallmarked silver plaquette on front cover; made by William Comyns in London, 1904/5, depicting Rubens winged cherubs within mitred frame, maltese cross corner-pieces, and embossed lettering: 'Ego te baptizo in nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti'. All edges gilt over red. Original white ribbed endpapers. 45 x 50 mm. Original tan morocco with gilt lettered spine 'Baptismal Service'. Some handling patination to back cover. OCLC,  228299550. WorldCat locates 3 copies worldwide (Washington University in St. Louis, Virginia and Indiana Universities). This title is significantly less common than the other Chuch of England miniature books (e.g. Common Prayer, Hymns Ancient and Modern). The silver work is also very much less common with its unusual borders.
